It is with great sadness that we learnt today of the death of Marie Grimes formerly of Abbeyfields Clonard Co. Meath.
Marie had moved to Abbeyfields with Bill to retire and was well liked and respected in the community. Marie was killed in a car collision with a truck on Thursday in Batterstown.

GRIMES (née Kavanagh) (Cloneylogan, Kildalkey, Co. Meath and formerly East Wall and Beaumont) - July 27, 2006, following a tragic accident, Marie, loving wife of Billy and precious Mam of Louise, Alison, Tamasine and Nicole and loving Grandmother of Lee and Ben; deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Martin, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, relatives and a close circle of family friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at her residence from tomorrow (Sunday). Removal on Monday morning to St Dympna’s Church, Kildalkey for 11 o’clock Mass. Burial afterwards in local cemetery.
